Along with our partners, Aryatech, STA will conduct a mooring analysis of an IOCL buoy located in Paradip, India. The goal of this project will be to analyze the Single point moorings being used to deliver energy to the sub-continent of India as well as run simulations to prepare the IOCL team for the various conditions they are likely to encounter while drilling in this region. These simulations will be run using Orcaflex software, a program used widely in this industry and one that STA is very familiar with. With the help of Stewart Technology Associates and Aryatech, IOCL will be able to enhance the sub-sea capabilities of their single point moorings so that they can better serve those who rely on them for energy.
